The Centro per la Cooperazione Internazionale– CCI is a non-profit, independent organisation engaged in the research, analysis, information, training, and promotion of knowledge on issues of international cooperation, European affairs, peace, and human rights to give substance to the commitments of the 2030 Agenda, adopted by the United Nations for sustainable development.
The CCI promotes the coordination of initiatives and actors operating in international cooperation, enhances the specificities of local experiences, and fosters their international projection, paying particular attention to the regions of priority interest for Trentino (Balkans, Mediterranean, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America).
Situating its activity in a complex, interdependent society, the CCI works to place rights, sustainability, and equity at the centre of practices and policies defined with the participation of institutions, civil society, the media, the academic community, and the world of labour and business.
